Bringing the school community together.
The Vernon Township Executive SCA is comprised of Five SCA Groups, one for each of the Vernon Township Public Schools – Cedar Mountain, Rolling Hills, Lounsberry Hollow, Glen Meadow and Vernon Township High School.
These are volunteer led groups that bridge each of the Schools and the Vernon Community through Scholarships, Awards, Assemblies, Dances, Faculty/Staff Appreciation, Senior Citizen Appreciation, The Giving Tree Program and so much more!
To see more detailed information about each School’s SCA Meetings, Meeting Minutes, School Specific Fundraisers, Contact Info and DETAILS ON HOW YOU CAN HELP US DO WHAT WE DO please see the specific Vernon Township School’s SCA page.
Congratulations to the 18 Vernon Township High School Students who received $14,750.00 combined from the 2022 Vernon Township Executive SCA Senior Scholarships. The Scholarships were awarded to students based on submitted essays that demonstrated their hard work, leadership and a true understanding of what their service means to others.
The ESCA would like to THANK ALL of the Scholarship Committee Members, Attendees, Donors, Sponsors, Volunteers, and anyone that supported our efforts in organizing and facilitating the Ladies Night Out Event that raised money for these scholarships. We couldn’t have done it without you!
The Giving Tree is an SCA program where we accept donations for local Vernon families who could use a little help around the holidays.
We ask our community for donations, no matter how big or small, to help make the season a little brighter for our neighbors.
One hundred percent of these donations are distributed equally to Vernon Students in need in the form of gift cards. Gift cards of equal value will be purchased from the total donations collected.
1. To coordinate efforts of the Individual Vernon Township School and Community Association.
2. To gain a better understanding of the operations, programs, and activities of the Vernon Township School District and, in turn to assist in informing and communicating this information to the general public.
3. To bring in closer relation the home and school, that parents, teachers and administration may cooperate intelligently in the education of children and youth.
4. To unite educators and general public in the common goals which will afford every child in the district the opportunity to develop mentally, physically, socially and morally.
